Park City Recreation was recognized on March 10 at the annual Utah Recreation & Parks Association (URPA) annual conference with two awards. The department received Recreation Department of the Year for communities with a population of less than 15,000, as well as Innovation of the Year for the Memorial Walls located in the Park City Cemetery. These awards were given for outstanding accomplishments in the field of Parks, Recreation, and Leisure Services. Last year at the conference the department received Facility of the Year for the Park City Municipal Athletic & Recreation Center (PC MARC).
