The Alachua County Department of Growth Management has released the “E-Permitting” system. This electronic permitting system allows state licensed contractors who are currently registered with the Alachua County Building Department and have an Alachua County Certification Number, to sign up and apply for electrical, mechanical, mechanical commercial, plumbing commercial, solar panel, tree removal, roofing, window and door replacement, and other residential type permits online.

This system was designed in-house to provide the local building community an easy to use, web-based electronic permitting system that speeds up the process of permitting projects not requiring building plan review.
