As part of continued efforts to improve its communities, Wellington, FL has funded the Neighbors of Wellington (NoW) Grant. The Grant is to be used by Active Neighborhood Watch (ANW) groups, so they may apply for up to $250 to use for food, favors and supplies for events aimed at creating or maintaining important connections within the community which help to build safe, livable neighborhoods. ANWs that have a lifespan at least 3 months, and have not been awarded a NoW Grant in the last 6 months, may apply. Additionally, applications for the NoW Grant program should be submitted to Neighborhood Services and staff shall determine the technical and financial feasibility and sufficiency of the applications on a case-by-case basis, with final approval to be made by the City Manager or designee.
