The ICMA Executive Board held its most recent quarterly meeting March 21-22, in Windsor, Connecticut, and took the following actions:
- Hosted a networking reception with members of the Connecticut Town and City Management Association.
- Received an update from ICMA’s chief financial officer on the impact of the loss of federal grants and contracts on ICMA’s finances.
- Approved amendments to the Midwest Regional Nominating Agreement, which will take effect with the 2025-2026 nominations and elections process.
- Approved the set of interview questions for the 2025 president-elect selection process.
- Approved the slate of president-elect candidates who will be invited to interview with the board at the June 2025 quarterly meeting.
- Engaged in a facilitated discussion regarding ICMA’s role in supporting its members in challenging times.
- Requested a review of the process for approving international strategic alliance agreements.
The board’s next meeting will be held June 6-7, 2025, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
