The natural beauty of the Rockies and pristine trout streams consistently put Bozeman, Montana, on top 10 lists for living and working. The area offers year-round outdoor activities like skiing, hiking, fishing, kayaking, and mountain biking.  But with a population of over 40,000, and thousands of tourists pouring into the area, it's the job of city officials to keep pace and protect the environmental assets of the city. 

Under the leadership of City Manager Chris Kukulski, the city developed and financed a 20-year infrastructure plan that included improvements to streets, the sewer system, water, public safety, and facilities. The improvements are highlighted in the lastest Life, Well Run success story. 

The “Success Stories” map of the Life, Well Run campaign website highlights the programs, projects, and activities directed by professional city, town, and county managers that improved service delivery and enhanced the quality of life for residents. Help us spread the word about how professional management makes a difference in your community by sending information about a recent project or program to lifewellrun@icma.org. 

There are also resources available on the website to use in presentations with civic organizations and students. We recently added a new video from Catawba County to the community videos section of the website.
