The City Health Dashboard is committed to providing accurate, timely data about health and the factors that shape health. By doing so, cities and local communities across the country can use the site to identify challenges and create actionable solutions toward health, wellbeing, and equity. The dashboard recently announced an exciting new data release that continues to build on this mission:
- New Cities: They have expanded the number of cities included on the site and now provide data for 1,103. Is your city on the map?
- New Metrics: To expand local priorities for which dashboard data can be used, two new metrics were added to the site: Voter Turnout and Independent Living Difficulty.
- New Years of Data: 22 metrics, including measures from the American Community Survey and the National Vital Statistics System, have been updated to the latest year of data available.
