This is the nomination of Allen, Texas' Serving with P.R.I.D.E program for the Strategic Leadership and Governance Award. City Manager Peter H. Vargas is credited with helping create this customer service initiative based on the five areas of People First, Respect, Integrity, Deliver, and Excel (P.R.I.D.E). P.R.I.D.E. is focused on recognizing employees who exemplify these qualities and creating a supportive work environment.
