A regional alliance of the Chambers of Commerce, Communitech (a local region wide tech association) and Municipal Economic Development members  called BestWr – Business and Economic Support Group of Waterloo Region formed to support the region's coronavirus economic recovery.BestWr represents 90,000 workers and 3,500 businesses of every type and size. The members and clients include advanced manufacturers, innovators, technology companies, major financial services firms, insurance providers, agriculture and small businesses of every type. This team has many subgroups with an overall coordinated approach of information collection and then advocacy to the Provincial and Federal Governments. This is a sample weekly report from the group.
