This document walks through the City of Cedar Hill’s decision to not only create a new city hall but create a government building that holds three different government entities. Through maximizing the amount of uses subsequently lowering costs the city has saved tax money while rectifying size issues. The program has been nominated for the 2016 Local Government Excellence Awards in the category of Community Partnership (populations of 10,000 to 49,999).
