Douglas County Nevada set out to create a community that matched the scenery and be recognized a sone of the best places to live, work, and play.  The Economic Vitality Strategy and Action Plan attempts to achieve these goals through focused leadership that devotes resources to education, innovation, outdoor recreation and lifestyle, and developing historic and distinctive downtowns.  This a long term plan that aims to build a strong economic base in the region through leveraging the assests and professionals the county has at their disposal.
