To preserve public health, safety, and welfare, this North Little Rock, Arkansas, ordinance and amendment ban pit bull breeds of dogs from being owned or kept within the city. Exempts registered AKC show dogs. Includes a grandfather clause whereby current owners may register their pit bulls within 30 days. Sets forth requirements for the care and keep of registered animals. Establishes procedure for dealing with violators. Enforceable by either the city's animal control or police departments.
