The Regional Afghan Municipalities Program for Urban Populations (RAMP UP), funded by the United States Agency for International Development, was designed to improve the capacity of local governments in Afghanistan. With RAMP UP's help, the municipality of Sheberghan constructed and opened a new bus terminal, creating a more efficient and convenient form of transportation for its residents. ICMA was a member of the RAMP UP North team.
