This report was prepared in response to concerns about how the US Department of Energy (DOE) will maintain the effectiveness of land use controls (LUCs) at the Mound Plant Site after the site is transferred to the Miamisburg Mound Community Improvement Corporation. The report discusses DOE’s analysis of the uncertainties associated with using LUCs at the Mound Plant Site and how the uncertainties were ranked in terms of potential impact on human health and the environment. The analysis will assist DOE-Mound Environmental Management Project staff in the development of a plan that manages the potential impacts of the uncertainties associated with LUCs at the Mound Plant Site.
