The Healthy Communities Ambassadors program is a peer-network among ICMA members interested in building healthy communities. ICMA provides ambassadors with monthly electronic updates on the topic of active living and healthy eating and free customized assistance on their active living-related initiatives. In exchange, ICMA asks ambassadors to share this information with other local government leaders in their region. Sharing this information is a good way to let other communities tap into your experience. The idea is to create a personalized forum for new information to be exchanged on this critical topic.
