Why aren't all pages viewable in a mobile format?
- We’re focusing on a responsive design that allows the widest range of mobile users access to the most heavily visited elements of the site. 90% of the pages on the site are now mobile friendly, and we'll continue to add more mobile-optimized sections of the site in future releases.
What happended to the home page that I see from my desktop?
- We've created mobile landing pages for the home page for icma.org that focuses on the latest news and events that are updated regularly and provide direct access to all the same areas of the site you can navigate to on your desktop.
Should the moblile version of the website appear on my iPad?
- No, the mobile version is intended for small screen devices.
Why does the page for Membership home page look like the desktop version but smaller?
- Some subsite landing (home page) pages i.e. icma.org/members, Annual Conference etc. are not mobile friendly yet however, when you select a hyperlink on the page that is mobile friendly, the page will be easily viewable from your mobile device.
Can I access Member only content from my mobile device?
- Yes, when you encounter a page or document that is member only content, you will be prompted to enter your email and password.
Can I use the Knowledge Network from my mobile device?
- Yes, we've created a mobile landing page highlighting the most recent blog posts from Knowledge Network contributors with mobile optimized views of blogs, Who's Who (People Search) and wikis.
Can I register for Conference from my mobile device?
- Yes, however some of the registration pages will not be mobile friendly.
Can I purchase a book using my mobile device?
- Yes, however the bookstore is not otimized for mobile viewing.
Why can't I respond to a Question on the Knowledge Network in a mobile format?
- Some of the interactive features on the mobile site are not available in the current release.
Why aren't the webinars viewable in a mobile format?
- We partner with a third party who manages the content for our webinars and mobile views are not available at this time.
How do I get back to the mobile view after visiting a page that isn't mobile friendly?
- Use the back arrow on your browser to return to the last mobile page you visited.
I'm having trouble accessing the mobile view of the site from my device.
- Clear your browser history and try revisiting the site icma.org, or point your browser directly to http://icma.org/m/en/icma/home.
Can I access the Job Center on my mobile device?
- You can view job ads in a mobile optimized format. Job ad submissions will be considered for a future release.
