The Darabin City Council boasts a highly successful program that has improved city relations with a diverse ethnic community. Efforts include a memorandum of understanding with ethnic representative groups. The results--improved accessibility to council services, increased participation in council’s decision making and (maybe best of all) a local government that is reflective of the community it serves and is truly responsive to its needs.
